Hive inspection cover cloths are the ideal hive manipulation tool. When opening the hive the cover is placed across the top of the box to cover the frames. This keeps the bees in the dark and undisturbed. As your inspection progresses through the hive it assists in keeping the bees under control and reduces boil over. It will also reduce the number of bees on the top bars, helping prevent the crushing of bees when replacing boxes and supers.
